Warm greetings to everyone. I am totally optimistic and delighted to have been elected as a trustee on Hokotehi. Thank you to those members who voted for me. I am the mokopuna of Kaweau and Te Hau e Rangi Mataira, I am the second eldest child one of 8 siblings of Ahinata, (Aunty May Clarkson). My Moriori karapuna is Tamehana Heta, a rangatamatua that we are immensely proud to be his direct bloodline. I am a professional person with a strong work ethic, excellent listening and communication skills.

Most people know me or know of me and would acknowledge that I am absolutely committed and passionate to all things applicable to the advancement of Moriori. I have been actively involved in Moriori kaupapa and development for over 20 years plus in a wide range of roles. I am currently Chair of the Hokopapa Unit.

My hunau and friends will confirm that I am honest, generous, a lateral thinker and confident. I challenge appropriately and will not be intimidated by opposing views. It is healthy to have differing opinions but realise sometimes there has to be compromises too.

I believe that I am a strong ambassador for all things Moriori.
